Sorry for the topic, it was just me imitating those eyes catching news title. I actually have a really interesting story to tell, which happened while I was trying to write my annotated bibliography.
For my annotated bibliography, I was trying to define the condition of period poverty in China, its effect, its problem, range solution, etc. However, I wasn't able to find that much open information because of the piteously small amount of NGOs in China with open statistics and researches done.
Thus, I switched to answering the problem "What is limiting NGOs from establishing in China?" However, there isn't enough valuable discussion in China either. I found that there IS a foreign NGO policy, and the information ends there.
Being a responsible student (yes I am) who hesitated for the answer, I decided to find out the foreign policy and NGO operation in China by myself.

On a beautiful sunny morning on January 9, I went to the City library, trying to find any documents valuable, not knowing what's waiting for me.
I first tried to search for the policy myself, but since it's a City Library, my ability to search overloaded, which lead me to the librarian.
The Librarian, after entering "China foreign NGO policy" into the search engine multiple times and got no result, pulled out a book that says "Chinese Law Code" on the front page. It is 1 book, but it's as thick as 3 AP bio book on top of each other.
Under my frightened look, she found the policy in 3 minutes.
Really impressive, and I let a breath out because the policy is just 3 pages long when she photocopied it for me. I bought a cup of coffee, sit in a spot with nice sunlight, plan to enjoy the sun after finishing the policy.

I was WRONG
The thin and fragile paper was clearly underweighted. I soon went into confusion 5 minutes into reading and started to ask myself if those familiar characters are actually Chinese.
Clearly, policies involving governing, economic, law, and philosophy terms could be enormously confusing, I was forced to pull out my computer and search 1 word by 1 word for certain definitions in order to fully understand everything.
It was so frustrating that I wanted to bump my head onto the keyboard😂, and I actually fall asleep while resting during a break.
So that's where the topic came from.
And the most frustrating thing is, the meaning it's trying to convey is really simple to understand...
Exactly like what textbook does man, wrapping easy concepts with big words to make it look fancy (sorry teachers).
But anyway, I was able to finish the bibliography because of that, it was just a really interesting story to tell, hope you enjoyed~
