[December reflection] My acquisition from this project in Dec.

As I was writing the script for my new video, I surprisingly found that the previous video about period poverty gained a small & satisfying success. Because I included a clip of my travel vlog at the beginning of the video, which attracted more audience and leads to positive feedbacks from the comment.

This is a really encouraging fact because I wouldn't say that my product is valuable for scientific research, but I'm glad that people found them interesting.

Thanks to the advertisement method of Bilibili, I can now see more videos covering the social issue on my topic page, from uploaders with hundred and thousands of fans. This aids my material accumulation, and I understand better which kind of script is more attractive to the audience.

I'm pretty sure that the pad quality test will be more interesting than my previous videos, and now I'm planning on covering more topics about women empowerment rather than just period.

I wondered about doing such a thing before, but didn't put it into action. Since the channel was originally for period issue discussion. But I definitely have a lot to say about women empowerment issues throughout society.

Lastly, something happened a week ago, that deeply triggered me. I use to be in a gaming group chat on WeChat, I remain in a close relationship with the members even though I quit gaming. And I've never advertised my channel on WeChat, so I assumed that they have no clue about the channel.

But one of the members also uses Bilibili, where she found my videos and spread them to the group chat. The very first thing everybody told me when they saw those channels was "You're so great, thank you." I was expecting more questions and doubts than encouragement, so their responses surprised me, but also helped me to solidify my determination on video making on such a topic.

And even better, one of the members was also moved. She told me that she had a plan about starting a channel discussing autism, but was always hesitating. My courage also waked hers, where she already started her first script.

Suddenly, I saw more value in what I was doing.
