There are many problems related to period currently being faced in China. And in my opinion, the biggest one right now is the lack of realization of those problems. Because of the limitations that China's policy brought forth, there are only a few NGOs existing in this country. So there isn't even a fully-developed channel that an NGO could use to advertise/spread the problems.

I started to be aware of period poverty after a trip to Kenya, where girls in poverty communities couldn't afford pads, and thus couldn't go to school. I am pretty sure there are also poverty areas in China that have the same issue, but such problems are terribly "advertised", therefore no one knows, and no one care.

There isn't even enough documentary/statistics to help me clear up how severe the problem is in China, I can only guess through comments in my videos, news from different states that are known to be impoverished, or stories from people around me.

My goal is to understand the problems in China (at least) and integrate what I've learned into articles/videos that could further educate the Chinese community.
